Acknowledging that you could be anywhere but here, thank you for joining me in My Mess. My name is Allison and I just so happen to not only like stuff but also like to write and talk about it. I made this website in order to give those thoughts a place to run wild and make a mess, while also having the platform to share that mess with all of you. So now you know!

What you don't know is who this messer is. As I said, I'm Allison. I like stuff. Stuff like anime, manga, comics, books, nerdy shows, crafting, poetry, and true crime. I am from the, not so great, greater Chicagoland area. I am married to a pretty fly dude and I am the proud cat momma of three fur babes. I also just got an airfryer. That has nothing to do with anything other than I am excited to fry stuff (send recipes). I'm 26 going on 80 and curious about the adventure we are all on. Once again, welcome to my mess.
